Lupe has convinced the Amsterdam party scene of his dj qualities since 2003.
He has his own clubnights and dj residencies in Amsterdam's coolest places. He also supervises the Fashion Radio in Studio 80 and "Vreemd" (=strange) in the Sugarfactory.
His style consists of the best electronic dance, acid, electro and minimal with unexpected classics, based on chicago house and disco. Both the music expert and the regular party swinger love it!
He played the biggest Dutch indoor dance event Innercity, Rauw and Smoke in 11, Paradiso, de Stalker, Waterfront en de Sugar Factory next to Dj T, Booka Shade, Tiga, Miss Kittin, Alloy Mental, the Glimmers , The Detroit Grand Pubahs, Joost van Bellen & Larry Tee.
At the infamous "Gouden Kabouter (Golden Dwarf) Awards" Lupe was nominated "Best New DJ", next to his nomination for his own clubnight UNK for "Best Underground Clubnight".
Lupe started bying Disco, House and Acid at age 13 en sees his current style as rounding up the circle. "I think the lo-fi, electro-funky acidsound is the most energetic music around. This sounds combines perfectly well with new electronics, which makes your head definitely pop off!"
