We came accross this website with a lovely 40s house, a period in which not many houses were built for obvious reasons. It's located in Antwerp and can be rented for photoshoots, events, product launches etc

Sandrina Fasoli and Michael Marson are the duo behind the fashion label "Sandrina Fasoli". Both graduated from La Cambre and have a special approach to femininity. They won several prizes and as a result drew national and international recognition of both press and customers. They have opened their own store at Place Brugmann in Brussels. At the recent Vicuna party, Deer du Bois presented his playfull collection of tracks. Today both parties joined forces and Deer du Bois created his first compilation for Sandrina Fasoli. Now available in our podcast or up for download. Ideal to make you happy or fall madly in love.

"Why do you post stuff about cars on your blog?", we got. Actually, we like the aesthetics / the design of cars, mainly vintage cars, and that's it. So here we go for another favourite : the DeLorean (DMC = DeLorean Motor Company). At the end of 70s the president of Pontiac - John DeLorean - decided to launch this brand. Production was only from 1981 to 1982 because of financial issues. About 8500 were built. Many know the model of it's appearance in the film "Back to the Future". From the old cars and old parts, a new CEO has risen and recently decided to rebuild the cars to run on electricity.

Two years ago we showed the film "Paris is Burning" at our parties, a 1990 movie on the ball culture of New York. We didn't dig into it yet here's an explanation and a how to :

Vogue, which was originally inspired by Vogue magazine, is the art form of moving your body to the music through model poses. These poses become incorporated with angular, linear, and rigid arm, leg, and body movements.

How to?

Take a deep breath and perform some stretching exercises. Vogueing requires quick jerking movements and is best practiced with a limber body. Make sure you have a large open space to practice in.
Start with arm movements. Your arms are usually the most expressive part of your body in this type of dancing. Hold both your arms out to your sides and then quickly jerk one arm inward bending at the elbow. Point your arm toward your face and make a smiling or menacing face. This is a move that shows you are the center of attention. Moves like this are very popular in vogueing clubs and battles.
During your routine, stop in a "diva" pose. This means stopping and being completely still in a high fashion pose such as hands on the hips and one foot forward or hands on the lower buttocks while the head is turned to the side.
Spin in a circle and then sit on the ground with one leg bent at the knee toward your buttocks. This is a diva move and is used frequently in vogue dance. This move will take practice until your spin looks graceful and controlled.
The biggest part of vogue dancing is the strut. Walk as if you are mimicking a fashion model's walk. This walk shows you have the attitude to pull off vogue dance style. Most vogue dancers start off with a dramatic walk.
