Nearly 34 months after the successful launch at Metro Anneessens, VICUNA is ready for a second party.

Two Belgian deejays AGUILA - the eagle - and CPT STARLIGHT invite a third international dj. Both are extremely passionate about music (dare we say freaks), true vinyl collectors playing in bars, basements and clubs.

The invitee is no one less than TIM SWEENEY, DJ of legendary BeatsInSpace radio show in New York. Tim is in demand thanks to his unique style, bringing together all sorts of things from old school hip hop to techno classics with ample quantities of disco, a lot of rarities, re-edits and remixes including a selection of all the coolest new tunes around. He’s also worked with legendary Steinski, RVNG INTL and DFA. Tim is also a regular DJ with DFA on their tours.

A concert of BRIGHT ENTITY opens the night at 23:00. Bright Entity will make you dance and dream on their analog voyage.

The VICUNA art work is made by the artist Frederik Heyman. The poster format honors the 12 inch by having the size of a vinyl sleeve and will be folded into a flyer format. He works for the likes of Bruno Pieters, Henrik Vibskov, Christian Wynants, Mercedes Benz, Delvaux etc and publishes in Vogue, Weekend Knack, De Standaard, Officiel Paris, GlamCult, Metal…. This upcoming local talent delivers visionary drawing, photography and video. He exhibited in Belgium, Holland, Austria, Germany, Sweden and France. You can order a poster when buying your tickets online.

VICUNA shows new Belgian fashion on big screens : designers François Cardona, Stephanie Lotgering, Giuseppe Virgone etc will show their latest creations.

The party happens at the Recyclart Art Center, that is well known from a diverse crowd. Next to the regular bar, VICUNA will set up an extra organic (bio) bar.
