Quite a remarkable day and night. This 39th party looked like the first one I wouldn't have been able to pull through because of last minute issues with the planned location. Rules and partying aren't always a good match...

I would like to thank all who came. It was so nice to see familiar Brussels and Antwerp faces too ! I was ever so happy to see people bringing extra lollipops and I am now the proud owner of a Paris Hilton type of gold dog, a snow-white tiara, tiny Robinson les Bains swimshorts etc. I mention the brand as they deserve being mentioned.

Special thanks to the giant dog bringing in the cake! I felt like a 12 year old hugging a Disney character. What a charm!

I hope your red fan will last for summer and for those who tasted, you were eating handmade candies from Papabubble and long fingers from Biotime (via Bioplanet/Colruyt). The latter is a sponsor, the first merely a Barcelona buy.

Although I'm still on a hangover, I'm excited already by the thought that Charles and Jack from the White Lies will bring a dj set at the next party. You should really check this video: http://www.losninos.be/my_diary.php?p=40-white-lies-death. Their recent festival appearances get 4 to 5 star quotations from the most respected journalists. But even if they wouldn't come (but they will), there is so much more on the program... so hope to see you at the Congres Station on October 23!

For those who didn't know yet... Los Ninos isn't FingerSpitzenGefuhl. The first is electro and pop (I've already called it "POP RADIKAL"), the latter italo and nu&old disco (I call it " < 125BPM (beats per minute)"). I truly love the both styles and as I could even come up with quite some more, I created "Vicuna". The White Lies have confirmed for the next Los Ninos on October 23rd (the next party is a Finger party on August 20 in Ghent) !!! Their track "Death" has been played 600000 times on MySpace and apart from looking good, they also are excellent electro djs. Add that up to a superb location in Brussels, a lot more djs and more to be confirmed and we promise a most enjoyable nightly adventure !
