los NINOS del parque (pronounce: ninios) is a song of Liaisons Dangereuses.
Contradictions: at the same time that Bucks Fizz wins the Eurovision song contest with "For making your mind up", Liaisons Dangereuses lets us taste the very best of the new wave 80's area.
We love the multi aspect: the title is Spanish but on the album you can also hear English, French and German. The song is no reference for the music played at Los Niños, but combines suprising contradictions, just as we like 'm: dark beats next to a playful title, low bases against screamy voices. The link is seldomly made in discos, but we believe that we can have fun like NINOS (children) and let PARQUE define our organic influence, which will be noticed in our sponsors, food and drinks but also in our attitude and respect.
And hey, the party did start in the city "Parque" of Antwerp...
-------
Liaisons Dangereuses was founded by Beate Bartel and Chris Haas in 1981(German & American).
They found a magic singer called Krishna Goineau for their album that he sang with passioon in French, Spanish, German and broken English. The recordings were mixed by Liaisons Dangereuses in the Conny Plank studio and this incredibly romantic album was possible thanks to Teldec import Service in October 1981.
With a touching mix of electronic rythms that were never heard, combined with explosions and scenical changes, the listener is desorientated from start to finish. Liaisons Dangereuses paves the way for most EBM music that came on the market ever since this album.
Numerous movements in electronic music (Detroit Techno, Chicago House, Electroclash,..) have quoted the album as a great source of inspiration. (Derrick May, Carl Craig, Dj Hell, ck may..) Other song titles are: Mystère dans le brouillard, Etre assis ou danser, Apéritif De La Mort - Kess Kill Fe Show - Peut Etre ... Pas - Avant Après Mars - El Macho Y La Nena - Dupont.
Remixes happened by: Plastic Voice (1997), Two of China (1986), Mark Brain , Out of the Ordinary,..
At the time we chose the name, a last version appeared produced by Hit Thing.
On request of a couple of fans, you can find the translation of their most known song here:
The children in the parc
Are very unhappy
They walk
And dream of candies
Sometimes without money
The children
They dance together
The children of the parc
Are very unhappy
They walk
And hold each others hand
And dream of candies
Sometimes without money
The children
But who says
They are innocent
They smoke cigarettes
And play with bubble gum
